1. About Definitions “Terms & Conditions” means these terms and conditions. “Website” means the website at www.scent-and-sensibility.co.uk owned by Ronny Geller. “Scent-and-Sensibility Perfumes/I/me” means Scent-and-Sensibility Perfumes (from here also S&SP). “You/your” means the purchaser placing an order for products with S&SP. These Terms & Conditions of sale apply to all orders received via the website. I reserve the right to adapt or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time and will notify the amendments or adaptations on the website. If these Terms & Conditions are amended, each order shall be governed by the Terms & Conditions in effect on the date of the order. 2. Making a Purchase By placing an order, you are offering to purchase the goods detailed within the order. However, I may refuse any order at my discretion. You may place your order with S&SP by completing an online order form. You can identify and correct any errors that may have been made before placing your order. We do not retain copies of online contracts and recommend that you print and retain a copy of these Terms & Conditions and your order acknowledgement email. Please note that these Terms & Conditions are only available in English. On receipt of your order, we will send you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. Please note that this email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance. Acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and me will take place on dispatch of the products ordered unless you are notified that I do not accept your order or you have cancelled it. 3. Payment When ordering via this website, payment will need to be made via PayPal, credit or debit card (eg. VISA, AMEX, MASTERCARD, SWITCH/MAESTRO). If you wish to have your order delivered to a different address than your address as the card-holder, I will, in addition to your address and contact details, require full and correct contact details (name, address and, if relevant, telephone number) of the recipient. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the credit or debit card being used is their own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the order. Should credit or debit card details be incorrect, or should there be insufficient funds to meet the cost of the order, Scent-and-Sensibility Perfume will be unable to accept an order. 4. Shipping and Handling Standard Delivery for a one-bottle order (Monday to Friday): Bottles Shipping via UK Royal Mail First Class Signed For--£3.00 ml (usually 2-3 days from confirmation of order) anywhere in the United Kingdom. Shipping via UK Royal Mail Special Deliver Next Day by 1PM--£5.50. If you order samples as well as a bottle, there will be no further shipping charges for the samples. If you order multiple bottles, I will contact you regarding postage costs. Samples The shipping cost for samples is £2.00. There is a three-sample minimum for sample orders. Please note: I do not generally dispatch products at weekends. Special arrangement would have to be made in this instance. In normal circumstances, I will always endeavour to dispatch an order within one working day. During busy periods, however (eg, Valentine's Day and Christmas time), orders may take longer to process and post. In all instances, it is of utmost importance that you supply correct and full postcodes. Please note: at this time, I do not ship outside of the United Kingdom. By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, you confirm that you are resident in the United Kingdom. All goods on the website are subject to stock availability. Should an item you have ordered be out of stock at the time of processing, you will be notified, by email, as soon as possible. Ownership of any products you order on this website shall pass to you on delivery of the products provided that I have processed and received payment in full for the products. Risk of loss and damage to products passes to you on the sooner of the date when the products are delivered and the date of the first attempted delivery by me. 5. Back Orders If your item is not in stock, I will, with your permission, order it for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. 6. Tax Charges The prices payable for products that you order on the S&SP website are quoted in £ pounds sterling, inclusive of VAT at the current rate of 15%, except for Gift Vouchers (as the giftee will incur VAT when making use of the Voucher on the website). Prices do not include delivery costs. I, as Scent-and-Sensibility Perfume, reserve the right to alter the price of products. Prices that are indicated on the website when you place your order are correct unless I inform you of an error in the price quoted or of an increase in a product price after your order is received. In this case, you will be given the option of re-confirming your order at the new or correct price, or cancelling it. If your order is cancelled I will provide a full refund. 7. Credit Card Security All credit card numbers used on the S&SP website are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach my computer. They are not held in clear text on any website. 8. Returns I accept returns on fully wrapped—that is, unopened—products within 14 days of purchase. The products must be returned in the same condition as at delivery. Please return via the UK Royal Mail Signed For on receipt service. I will be happy to arrange a refund, exchange or credit. Please retain your postal receipt until I confirm I have received your package. The customer is responsible for postal costs on returns. The website will note if an item is out of stock. However, if there is an unforeseen out of stock situation, you will be notified within 2 working days and, if you do not wish to wait, you will, of course, have the right to cancel the order. 9. Privacy Policy I do not disclose customer information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item. Personal details, such as email addresses, postal codes and telephone numbers, are held on the database to enable fulfilment of your order and, if you have given your consent, so I can alert you to any future offers available through the online store. These details are held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will not be shared with any other organisation unless required to do so by law. Data collected by this site is used to: a. Take and fulfill customer orders b. Administer and enhance the site and service c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes 11. Returns Policy Should you have a need to return goods, please e-mail me at info@scent-and-sensibility.co.uk, or contact me at 0844 351 0275, and I will forward a Returns form. Please ensure you have your order reference number ready when you contact me. When returning goods (except when goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied by Scent-and-Sensibility Perfume), the customer will carry the cost of returning goods. To return products, please: 1. Complete the Returns form (available by emailing info@scent-and-sensibility.co.uk). 2. Carefully pack the item(s) in the original packaging, or similarly suitable packaging. Please do not use the product box as outer packaging and note that I will deduct the reasonable cost of any returned items damaged in transit due to inadequate packaging from any amount refunded to you. 3. As I am sure you will understand, this is for reasons of hygiene. The products must be returned in the same condition as at delivery. To help with the process of an exchange or credit, please note when returning goods details of how you paid as well as contact details and the returns number. To reiterate, as noted above, please return via the Signed For service at the Post Office and retain your receipt. I do not accept responsibility for items lost in the post. Should you receive a faulty or broken item, this will of course be exchanged or refunded*.
